Day Glow Day: 23.1.23

We had Day Glow Day for pedestrian safety and to raise awareness of wearing bright clothes in darker months so that children can be seen more easily by road users.

Food Bank Donations: 21.12.22

Before Christmas we celebrated our class parties - thank you so much for your kind donations, everyone had fun celebrating. 

We took the left over food to The Redbridge Food Bank.

Musical Concert: 19.12.22

The choir and instrumentalists performed for the parents and carers.

Snow Days: 12.12.22

We were very sad to close the school due to snow but look how beautiful our school looks!

PTA Christmas Fair: 9.12.22

We had so much fun at the PTA Christmas Fair last Friday - we hope you did too. Thank you so much for coming and supporting our school. All of the money raised goes towards items and events for William Torbitt children.

A huge thank you to our PTA who worked so hard to put the event together, organise everything and run it so successfully.
Also thank you to all of the staff and volunteers who helped.

Christmas Jumper/Non-Uniform Day: 9.12.22

We invited children to wear a Christmas jumper or non-uniform today. Everybody could eat a Christmas lunch too. The children enjoyed pulling crackers, wearing their paper party hat and telling each other their jokes.

Charity Textile Recycling Bin: 8.12.22

As part of our drive to become a greener and more environmentally friendly school, we are pleased to announce that a 'Charity Textile Recycling Bin' has been installed on the school grounds.

The recycling bin is located on the right as you enter the main gate so is easily accessible for you to recycle your unwanted items and help save the environment whilst dropping/collecting your child from school.
It's time to sort out all of those unwanted items in your home and get recycling!
 

Children in Need: 18.11.22

We dressed up in spotacular clothes to show our support for Children in Need.

Odd Socks Day: 14.11.22

We put odd socks on the mark the start of Anti-Bullying Week.

Fireworks: 4.11.22

A big thank you to everyone who attended our fireworks event organised by our PTA on Friday 4th November. There were big smiles all round. Thank you to our volunteers and stall holders for making it such an enjoyable event. When we know how much money we raised, we will share it with you.

Identity Week: 31.12.22

As part of Identity Week, we asked children and staff to dress up in clothes that reflect their cultural identity as part of Identity Week. The outfits were amazing and it was so interesting hearing about children's heritage. On Friday everyone chose outfits that reflect the personal identity.

Macmillan Coffee Morning: 17.10.22

Thank you to our PTA for organising a Macmillan Coffee morning to connect with one another and raise money for this important charity.

Each child who has earned a Golden Ticket is invited to The Haven to take part in a fun activity as a reward. Last week, they were decorating biscuits with yummy icing and sweets.

Jeans for Genes Day: 20.9.22

Thank you to everyone who took part in Jeans for Genes Day and donated money yesterday. We raised £247.38 for a charity that transforms the lives of families affected by a genetic condition.
