Welcome to our Nursery

We are very proud of our caring and nurturing environment and can offer you and your child a wonderful welcome at William Torbitt Primary school.

We have a brand new team who are experienced and passionate to delivering a fantastic Early Years curriculum.

The nursery staff in Plum Class are:

Class Teacher: Miss D. Roberts

Learning Support Assistant: Mrs R. Begum

We are a vibrant and busy Nursery offering 15 hour funded places​. We have two sessions:

Morning –  8:45 - 11:45
Afternoon- 12:30 – 3:30

Our Nursery is well resourced and benefits from a large fenced outdoor area as well as a sensory corridor and large fields. Our children are given the freedom and take their learning either inside or outside as we operate a free flow system between the indoor and outdoor environments.

Topics and themes are carefully planned to capture the children’s interest and imaginations and our experienced team work hard to ensure the children are safe, happy and make excellent progress during their time with us.

We develop positive relationships with parents through our transition arrangements and home visits and value our parents as partners to ensure the best possible start for your child within our Nursery.
