School Clubs

At William Torbitt Primary School, we offer a range of extra-curricular activities, which are run by staff members as well as outside agencies. We currently have Football, Dance and Karate After School Clubs that are run by outside agencies.

In the new year we hope to be running the following after school clubs over the course of the Autumn Term.

  • Gymnastics Club (Years 3-6)
  • Computing & Coding Club (Years 3-6)
  • Science, Technology & Engineering Club (Years 3-6)
  • Art and Modelling Club (Rec – Year 2)
  • Outdoor Adventures Club (Years 1-6)

These clubs will each last for run for 10 weeks and cost £4 per session (£40 cost for the term must be paid in advance). Pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium funding will be eligible for a discounted rate.

We are also hoping to provide an 11+ Tuition Club for pupils in Year 4 or Year 5 – the sessions for this club will be slightly longer than for other clubs, and the cost will also be higher as it requires a greater level of preparation and time for those members of staff running it.

Please be aware that pupils will only be accepted for this club where the school feels that their in-school attainment and attendance is such that they would enjoy and benefit from this club.

You will receive an e-mail towards the end of the Autumn Term confirming the days each club will run and bookings will be on a first come, first served basis.

We use an external provider called Simply Out of Schools for our breakfast and after school club.
